The Ukraine legal system has officially sentenced a young Russian soldier to life in prison. The Russian soldier recently convicted of murder allegedly shot the Ukrainian senior citizen one time before killing him. Now that the Russian soldier is sentenced to life in prison in Ukraine, his trial will set the stage and send a message to Russian soldiers that if they are caught, Ukraine will try them and likely convict, resulting in a leafy prison sentence. And possibly life behind bars.
