Is this lady in the CNBC.com video thinking wisely about saving money while traveling? Or is she being an alleged hoarding penny pincher and stingy with her money?

This is a commentary-opinion post written as food for financial thought...

When it comes to pinching every penny and allegedly being a cheapskate, alot of folk nowadays are doing just that. Not just the working poor, or the middle-class working people. But also, those who are nearly robust with money.

Saving money nowadays entails putting off making purchases at brand-name retail stores, purchasing expensive business suits, shoes, women's business attire, and other forms of casual apparel. In fact, one may tend to shop more at the regular supermarket, versus spending long hundred dollar bills at an organic health food store.

Most folk who are looking to diversify their income strategies tend to save rather than spend. But if some do spend, for instance, a savvy internet marketer who spends money on online advertising with any ad company of choice, they would spend wisely in efforts of hoping they diversified their long-term income strategy to potentially earn more revenue on world wide web after spending online ad dollars with an online paid advertising service.

If you were nearly rich and looking to save money, would you put off spending like a virtual clothes-horse at expensive department retail stores, and rather spend it online in advertising your online business, or just let your money sit in the bank and let it build interest until the economy gets better, than spend the interest made on your money sitting in the bank?

Truth: Everyone today will leave the world broke. Why? You can't take money with you into eternity. Money is no good there.
