Rumor has it that the trend of males sagging their trousers allegedly emerged from American prisons. Is this true? Maybe. Maybe not. Since this trend came in existence, young males, preferably teenagers, purposely sag their pants as a fashion statement. Some sag their pants to allegedly showoff their small waistline and designer underwear, while others possibly sag their pants to advertise their backside covered by boxer briefs to allegedly attract other men. Rumor has it that sagging came from prison as a trend to quietly signal other prison inmates for possible man on man sex.
Some males find sagging to be acceptable. They purposely sag their pants in public in broad daylight and advertise their underwear in sagging pants in public settings such as business districts, shopping malls, residential neighborhoods, and parties with a care in their heart. They don't have a care in their heart about the image they portray while sagging their pants. Little do they know when they walk around in public and sag khakis, jeans, or any other type of pants, they silently send a message to the general public that their parents didn't raise them right. Who wants to employ someone that's in the business of sagging, yet alone talk about a decent woman having an interest to affiliate herself with a young man or man that sags his pants gladly? No one in their right mind wants to associate with a person that purposely allows their underwear to be advertised in public and display their backside covered in a thin layer of boxer briefs.
Males that sag pants can look forward to:
- Overlooked in potential employment
- Potential solicitation from homosexual men for DL sex
- Rejected by decent women left and right
- Denied access into institutions such as college or government buildings (unless they are going to court to answer to a possible criminal charge)
- Dismissed from school and other activities for indirect indecent exposure
The list goes on.
It doesn't pay for any male to create a negative self image by sagging his pants. People remember stuff like that 20 - 30 years later and may possibly pass judgment.
